We usually begin each meeting by introducing those who have recently joined our group. Joining is easy - just come and sign in. Presentations of interest to the community. We usually offer several presentations about topics our members have requested. Question-and-answer sessions. We are fortunate to have the expertise of Jim Richardson, a serious computer guru with extensive experience and knowledge about the workings of our machines. Jim is seldom stumped by user questions. The Q&A section of this site (see the menu items to the left) provides an easy way to pose questions. SIG's - Special Interest Groups are people who share a specific interest. Currently our club has one such group with an interest in digital photography. If you want to initiate a group, please make your desire known and be prepared to be its moderator. You and others who share the interest will can meet in a separate room during the second hour of our meetings. Raffles. Occasionally we raffle items that have been donated to the club. Guest speakers often bring us samples of their wares or we acquire them at computer shows. Members who have useful items they no longer need or want also donate them. |
