In the upper right corner of the
main menu, click on
Sign In
This page will appear.
Click on the
Create an account now.
link.
This is the page where you provide information.
You must supply a valid e-mail address. - it's the equivalent of a "user name," but Google doesn't call it that.
Select and enter a password of at least 6 characters and enter it twice as shown. Please remember an/or record it.
Do the Word Verification. The word you see won't be the same as the one you see here and it's a new one each time the page is generated. You need not record or remember it. The verification reduces the chance that an automated process is trying to establish an account.

I accept. Create my account.
at the bottom of the page.
